This tour take 5 hours. First we spend 2 hours seeing the sights in Helsinki and then we drive 50 km to the picturesque city of Porvoo. We hear about the history of Finland and visit the souse of the Finnish national poet, Johan Ludvig Runeberg.

We visit the old town and famous cathedral from the 15 th century. we also stop to have a coffee in cosy cafe in the old town.

During the tour, you will have the opportunity to visit Ainola, the home of Jean Sibelius that is now a museum, and take a guided tour of the house.

We will also visit Villa Kokkonen, one of the few private houses designed by the renowned architect Alvar Aalto. This villa was both a home and a place of work for composer Joonas Kokkonen. Our final stop will be at Halosenniemi, the idyllic home and studio of painter Pekka Halonen, located on the banks of Lake Tuusula.
